Our biggest thank you to everyone who made it to the UpsideDowns ‘Share the Dream’ gala on Saturday 14 September in the World Cup Lounge at Eden Park. What a way to celebrate our 21st Birthday and bring back Share the Dream 10 years later. It was a magic night organised by our amazing committee, led by Mel Watson and Vicky Lowe and backed by our dedicated volunteers, Board members and team.
The evening was full of live and silent auctions, with the live auction run by Sam Steele from Ray White, incredible entertainment from Phil Madsen and MC’d by the talented Gold Medallist, Babara Kendall. Another major thank you to all our generous sponsors, especially Eden Park, we couldn’t run the event without you.
To everyone who placed a bid and donated, the money you spent goes straight into providing speech therapy for children with Down syndrome and because of your help, we raised $85,000 on the night. If you missed the chance to give the gift of speech, it’s not too late, let’s get to $100,000!
Photos are now available, check out the gallery below! Thank you to our amazing photographers, Kate Little and Ryder Hinton for capturing the evening.
To further reminisce on the night, check out the auction booklet below! Thank you again to everyone who helped make the night happen, you have made a world of difference to our kids and what we do as the UpsideDowns Education Trust.
