October is a time to celebrate the abilities and wonderful accomplishments of people with Down syndrome. Here at UpsideDowns, we are committed to giving the gift of speech to every Kiwi kid with Down syndrome, so they can go on to raise their voices and live their dreams.

Challenge Yourself
Down Syndrome Awareness Month is a great time to challenge yourself and help raise money for UpsideDowns through crowdfunding! Set yourself an exercise goal. Give something up for 21 days. Take on a creative project – time for a new Halloween costume? Do something that scares you (our friend Viv recently cut off her hair!).

Treat a Sports Fan
If someone in your life is celebrating an achievement, gearing up for a big event, or hitting an important milestone, you can send them a personalised message from one of their favourite sporting stars with Swysh.
