What's on for World Down Syndrome Day

World Down Syndrome Day is observed annually on 21 March every year, here are some of the great events taking place on and around World Down Syndrome Day throughout Aotearoa this year!

Tee Off for World Down Syndrome Day

Swing into World Down Syndrome Day this year at Tee 21, a fun family day of gold presented by UpsideDowns and the Hastings Golf Club!

Join us at Hastings Golf Club on Tuesday, 21 March for a special day. Keen golfers can get a team together to play in the Ambrose golf tournament and there will be lots of entertainment for the family, including a free kids golf zone, bouncy castles, a BBQ, and learn to play golf challenges.

The event has been organised by Mathew and Lucinda of Pinpoint Golfing Experiences, one of our UpsideDowns families based in the Hawke's Bay. With first-hand experience of the region's tough times of late, they have arranged a cyclone relief hole for the day, to help support those in need!

Celebrate Down syndrome awareness, have a blast with your whānau, and help UpsideDowns give a voice to Kiwi kids with Down syndrome – get your tickets here.

Nationwide

Rock Your Socks: Make sure you’re wearing your most colorful mismatched socks for the day, as a sign to celebrate and value diversity.
